Polyester film, often referred to as PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate), has outstanding physical properties for a plastic film. These include high tensile strength, chemical resistance, thermal stability, flatness, clarity, high temperature resistance and thermal and electrical insulation properties.

With hundreds of types of film in a wide variety of thicknesses and coating combinations, polyester film gives outstanding performance in a huge range of applications and is often far superior to other substrates such as PVC, acetate and polypropylene.

Polyester film has been the core business for HiFi since the company was started 25 years ago and still represents the major part of our business. Our large warehouse has stock of over 100 grades of polyester ready for conversion into reels and sheets.
